Custom Embroidery is the process of stitching a design into fabric with thread. In the computerized Custom Embroidery industry, Custom Embroidery machines are used to stitch designs into the fabric of garments and other items much more quickly than stitching by hand. The Custom Embroidery machines are run by both external and internal computers. To simplify - Custom Embroidery machines are much like printers only, instead of printing with ink, they stitch threads. Special computer programs are used to create, or digitize, designs which in turn are "read" by an Custom Embroidery machine. Because the process is so specific to the industry, common programs, like Corel Draw, are not able to be converted for use without the design being digitized specifically for the Custom Embroidery industry. Any Custom Embroidery  image can be digitized provided it is in some form besides photography. All copyrighted designs must be accompanied by permission of the person who holds the copyright before the design can be digitized. No other artwork is needed if the image is already in a paper printed format.

The cost for Custom Embroidery varies with each design and is determined by the amount of stitches in the design. Digitizing fees are one-time fees. If you refer to the designs below, the stitch count is listed as well as the digitizing cost and the cost to stitch out or "run" the design on a garment. The cost to run a design is also based on stitch count. The more intricate a design is the more stitches it will incorporate and the higher the cost will be. We have worked with many customers to figure out ways to develop their current design into something that will not require a lot of stitches and have gotten some great results.
